Description

Facial technique refers to a specific method or procedure used to improve the condition and appearance of the skin on the face. This comprehensive course consists of: detailed information on the different types of facials and their indications; proper technique for preparing and performing facials; information on how to properly assess a patient’s skin type and determine the appropriate facial treatment for them; information on how to properly care for a patient before, during, and after a facial treatment; video demo of doing the facial technique on a client; and information on the use of equipment and tools like a steamer, extractor, and high-frequency machine.

Certification: ADVANCED Facial Therapist

Length: 20 hours

This course prepares students to properly diagnose the skin type, condition and offer clients specialized skin treatments to reflect their specific needs. This program integrates theory and practical application to provide students with the greatest understanding of the business.

The Advanced Skincare & Facials Certificate Course is designed to advance your career in Aesthetics, Skincare, Spa Therapy, or other related beauty career. While no prior aesthetics knowledge is required for the certificate, you may want to gain a complete knowledge of Aesthetics. For starting a new career in Aesthetics or Skincare, take a look at the Advanced Aesthetics Diploma or Para-Medical Skin Care & Laser Technician Diploma (formerly “Medical Aesthetics”).

Get ready to learn through equal parts theory and hands-on training! You will learn multiple skin care techniques, including a deep knowledge of facials. This certificate will cover treating a variety of skin types for men and women. Throughout the course, you will get opportunities to practice on real clients under the instructor’s supervision in our very own school spa.
